Terms of use
These terms apply to the SimuFit app (app.simufit.app) and the simufit.app website. The service is provided by Simulingo (simulingo.eu). By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms, the privacy policy and the health disclaimer.
The service
SimuFit helps you plan and log strength training. You can create a program with AI, choose a template or build your own, log your workouts at the gym, follow your progress and, if you like, get general nutrition guidance. We keep developing the service, so features may change, and we may add or remove them.
Who can use SimuFit
You must be at least 16 years old. If you are 16 or 17, you need the consent of a parent or guardian. For younger people, training with a coach, a PE teacher or a sports club is the best way to start.
Your account
- Give accurate information about yourself, especially in the health screening. The safety of your program depends on it.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You can also use the app as a guest. Your data then lives only in your device's browser and may be lost if you clear browser data. Use the export feature to keep a backup.
- You can export your data and delete your account at any time from Profile → Account.
Acceptable use
Use SimuFit for your own training. You must not:
- use the service unlawfully or in a way that infringes other people's rights;
- scrape data automatically, deliberately overload the service or try to break its security;
- try to make the AI features produce harmful content or bypass the safety rules;
- resell or redistribute the service or its content without our permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service. We will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.
AI-generated content
Programs, meal ideas and insights generated by AI are checked by deterministic safety rules before you see them, but they can still be imperfect or a poor fit for you. Use your own judgement and edit anything that does not feel right. The AI does not know you as well as you, or the professionals who treat you, do.
No medical advice
SimuFit provides general fitness and nutrition guidance. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, physiotherapist or registered dietitian. You train at your own risk and within your own abilities. Please also read the health disclaimer.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, texts, template programs and the SimuFit name and logo belong to Simulingo or its licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive right to use the service under these terms.
Your data belongs to you. You allow us to process it only as needed to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
Exercise videos are embedded from YouTube and belong to their creators. The 3D figures are built from openly licensed MakeHuman community assets; full credits are in the app.
Availability and limitation of liability
We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we cannot promise that the service will always be available or completely free of errors. The service is provided as is.
To the extent permitted by Finnish law, we are not liable for indirect damages, such as loss of data stored in guest mode, or for harm resulting from training against the guidance, your own judgement or the advice of a health professional. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or your mandatory rights under consumer protection law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes in the app before they take effect. If you do not accept the changes, you can stop using the service and delete your account.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. We aim to settle any disagreement by talking first, so please contact us. As a consumer, you can also get help from consumer advisory services, bring the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi), or take it to the district court where you live.
